Two Penny Missions was honored as the KTVE News “Pay it Forward” recipient for the month of June. Brett Bennett, 1st Assistant Chairperson for Two Penny Missions, was interviewed. He espressed how Two Penny was started as “As an effort to teach his (Danny Acree’s) son how to be the hands and feet of Jesus, and how to serve other people”. Brett went on to describe the meaning of the name for the temporary shelters or mini-houses, called “Arimathea Trace”. The funds received from this honor will go towards expending to Women’s shelters and continuing the growth of Two Penny Missions.
